Dear R/C Enthusiasts !!

The Rosedale International R/C Flyers Club is nearing the end of its first year with incredible
enthusiasm and a positive outlook towards the future. We currently have 20 members with possibilities of
another half dozen to join in the near future.

For our field we have acquired two picnic tables, a used lawn mower, purchased snow fencing for our
flight line and maintained a well-groomed 600 ft by 100 ft landing site throughout the flying season. We
held two club picnics at the field this summer with about 50 in attendance for both. On the first Wednesday
evening of every month in the summer, our members attended four float plane fun fly and family barbecue's,
that were graciously hosted by Jeanne Tubman, club secretary and owner of the Pinnacle Hobby Shop.
At the present time, Ray Majkrzak, club Vice President, hosted our first annual FROZEN FINGER FUN
FLY!! on January 14th on the frozen shores of Lake Superior. We are also conducting classes in building
basic trainer planes from scratch and helping new members with final ARF assembly on Saturday
afternoons at the local hobby shop.
Enclosed you will find pictures of our latest fun fly!!

Secretary
