Expo in the UNI Dome Cedar Falls, IA Site: UNI Dome Time: Flying from 9AM until 6PM (Saturday) / 5PM (Sunday) Description: Indoor Electric Fly-in The UNI Dome is the 16,000 seat domed indoor football stadium for the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, IA. The UNI Dome is a "hard roof" with no fans or blowers inside, so it's perfect for everything from slow flyers to 3D to helicopters. The flying field is 120 yards long with a 160 foot ceiling. The entire football field is available for R/C flying with additional flying area over the seats on the East side of the stadium. The flight line is 100 yards long. One end of the field is for 3D aircraft & helicopters and the other end is for "racetrack" or circular pattern flying. All fixed wing aircraft must have a flying weight of less than 20 oz.
